Registration for the upcoming school year of First Methodist Preschool begins for currently enrolled families, David Learning Center families and members of the First Methodist congregation on February 12. Click here for Registration forms. Completed forms should be returned with the registration fee to either the Preschool Office or to Shea Walraven’s box in the Church Office. A child is not registered until the fee is paid. Registration opens to the general public on February 26. Take advantage of this “head start” to be sure to have a place for next year.

We offer classes for children who are at least 15 months old by September 1 through 4 years old. Click here to learn more.

If you have a child who will be in a 4-year-old program next year, you will be deciding between public Pre-K and a private program. As you consider the alternatives, please keep these facts in mind. As a church affiliated school, we offer a Christian atmosphere, with Chapel, prayer, Bible verses, and emphasis on Christian holidays. Our classes are small, so there is more opportunity for individual attention. Our curriculum for fours is based on the specific skills your child will need in Kindergarten, We work closely with city and county schools to insure that we are covering what they want rising kindergartners to know.

If you have any questions, call or come by the Preschool between 9 AM and noon, Monday through Friday, or call 706-629-2813.
