Registration for the 2013-2014 school year of First Methodist Preschool begins for currently enrolled families, David Learning Center families and members of the First Methodist congregation opens on March 18. Click here for Registration forms. Completed forms should be returned with the registration fee to either the Preschool Office or to Shea Walraven’s box in the Church Office. A child is not registered until the fee is paid. Registration opens to the general public when we return from Spring Break April 1, so take advantage of this “head start” to be sure to have a place for next year. All children registered during the week of March 18-25 will receive a free Preschool T-shirt in the Fall!

We offer classes for children who are at least 15 months old by September 1, 2014 through 4 years old. Click here to learn more.

If you have a child who will be in a 4-year-old program next year, you will be deciding between public Pre-K and a private program. As you consider the alternatives, please keep these facts in mind. As a church affiliated school, we offer a Christian atmosphere, with Chapel, prayer, Bible verses, and emphasis on Christian holidays. Our classes are small, so there is more opportunity for individual attention. Our curriculum for fours is based on the specific skills your child will need in Kindergarten, We work closely with city and county schools to insure that we are covering what they want rising kindergartners to know.

We will have an Open House April 1 from 5:30PM until 7:00PM. This is a good opportunity to tour the facilities and meet our teachers. If you have any questions, call or come by the Preschool between 8 AM and noon, Monday through Friday, or call 629-2813.
